Independence Memorial, Porta de Santiago
and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church.

Cina. As the name implies, 'Chinese
Hill' was the official settlement of the
entourage that arrived with the Chinese
Princess Hang Li Po. She was sent to
Melaka by the Ming emperor to marry the
Sultan, marking the advent of diplomatic
relations between Melaka and China.
- Hang Li
Po's Well. Built by the followers of
Hang Li Po, the well was the only source
of water during great droughts. The
Dutch enclosed it with stout walls to
reserve it for their exclusive use.
Today, it enjoys a reputation as a
wishing well.
- Dutch
Square. Discover the Stadhuys, the Tan
Beng Swee Clock Tower, Queen Victoria
Fountain and Christ Church.
- Cheng
Hoon Teng Temple. The oldest Chinese
temples in the country. It was built in
1646 with materials shipped here from
China. Fine workmanship is evident in
the ornate decorated mythological
figures, carvings, and lacquer work
inside the temple.
- Jonker
Street. Authentic artifacts and relics,
some dating as far as 300 years, can be
found among a host of interesting
collectibles, each with its own history
and mystery.
- Baba-Nyonya
Heritage Museum. The ancestral home of
three generations of a Straits-born
Chinese Baba family. The building is now
converted into a stunning museum that
preserves the unique legacy of the Babas.
The Babas combine Chinese and Malay
culture, a result of marriages between
early Chinese settlers and local Malay
women. Over the years, a distinct
culture called the Baba Nyonya or
Peranakan culture emerged.

Port Klang Cruise: VKUL-1J – The Asian Melting Pot

- Blue
Mosque (photo stop). The Sultan
Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque
or the Blue Mosque of the East has four
soaring minarets with blue enameled
domes each measuring 52 metres in
diameter and 107 metres in length. The
dome is also capped with Quranic verses
and an aluminum finial finishing of
gold. The mosque can accommodate some
10,000 worshippers and is regarded as
one of the largest in South East Asia.

Hou Temple. Situated in Robson Heights
overlooking Jalan Syed Putra in
Kuala Lumpur, this temple is the home to
patron Goddess Thean Hou of the
Hainanese community. This striking
six-tiered temple is regarded as one of
the biggest Chinese temples in South
East Asia.
- KL
Tower. Here, visitors can enjoy a bird's
eye view of the city from the fourth
highest concrete tower in the world.
This imposing 421-metre tower is clad in
glass (double glazed with gas infilled)
is arranged in the traditional Islamic
form of the ‘Muqannas’. For the
transportation from ground floor to the
various platforms of the tower head,
high-speed lifts are installed.
Travelling time by the lifts between the
ground floor and the various platforms
of the tower head will take
approximately one minute.

Malaysia's premier shopping destination
located at Kuala Lumpur's prestigious
