Itinerary:

DAY 01 SINGAPORE / CHIANG MAI - CITY TOUR - WAT PHRATHAT DOI SUTHEP - ROYAL FLORA RATCHAPHRUEK ( Khantoke Dinner)

  • Meet on arrival and commence on City Tour - drive pass the City's Moat, Chiang Mai is one of the few cities in the world which has a well preserved moat and make a stop at The Three Kings Monument, impressive statues of King Mangrai, King Ramkhamhaeng and King Ngammuang. Next stop at the Chedi Luang Temple, built by King Saen Muan Ma in 1391,the original height of the chedi was 90 meter tall but was partly destroyed by an earthquake in 1545 and it now stand at 60 meter tall. Drive uphill to visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, a sacred temple popular to the Thai people and tourist. From the temple ground you can have a panoramic view of Chiang Mai city. You may choose to climb the more than 200-step naga stairway or take the tram service to the temple. Thereafter, visit the Royal Flora Ratcgaphruek (Royal Flora Garden), this beautiful garden was to commemorate the 60th anniversary of H.M King Bhumibol Adulyadej's accession to the throne. View the majestic Royal Pavilion, which is the symbol of Ratchaphruek Garden. Tonight Khantoke dinner will be at the Chiang Mai Cultural Center. Sit back , relax, enjoy your dinner and watch a colourful cultural performance. After dinner, experience the lighting of beautiful fireworks.

DAY 02 CHIANG MAI - MAE SAI ELEPHANT CAMP - MONKEY CENTRE - SNAKE FARM - BAAN TONG LUANG HILL-TRIBE VILLAGE - SAN KAMPHAENG HOME INDUSTRIES (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

  • After brekafast, visit the Mae Sai Elephant, watch these trained giants exhibit their prowess in forestry skills and marvel the pachyderm artists and mahouts create the most astonishing paintings. You may take an optional ride on these gentle elephant and go on a trek through the rain forest. The Monkey Centre, watch a 30 minute show where the monkeys demostrate an impressive range of talents such as coconut-picking, bike-riding, basketball and arthmetic. The Snake Farm, watch exciting snake show by expert snake handler demostrate their skills of handling these highly poisionous creatures with the deadly cobras being the highlight. Baan Tong Luang Hill-Tribes Village, set in a rural area at the base of a hill, it houses families from five idigenous tribes namely the Long-necked Karen Tribe, the golden rings on the women necks are symbol of this hill-tribe ; the White Karen Tribe, unmarried girls and women wears white dresses only, after married they wore highly colorful costumes ; Lahu Tribe, the women wear very large earring ; Pa Long Hill-Tribe, the women wears very colorful sarong, a wide silver waistband and black rattan amulets for protection from evil spirits ; Hmong Tribe, the women wear a heavily embroidered costumes and the men wear baggy trousers. Thereafter onto San Kamphaeng Home Industries - make stops at Bo Sang Umberlla & Parasol Village, the Cotton & Silk Weaving Village, Gems Gallery and the Highland Bee Farm.

DAY 03 CHIANG MAI - MAE KACHANG HOTSPRING - WAT RONG KHUN (WHITE TEMPLE) - CHIANG RAI - MAE SAI - OPIUM HOUSE - GOLDEN TRIANGLE - BOAT RIDE TO LAOS DONSAO ISLAND - CHIANG SAEN - CHIANGMAI (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

  • After an early breakfast, take a leisurely scenic drive to Chiang Rai , make a brief comfort stop at Mae Ka Chan, a hot spring town. Soak your weary legs in concrete trenches filled with hotspring waters or buy a basket of eggs and boil it yourself in the bubbling hotspring pools. Next stop at the impressive beautiful ornate and delicate white stuccowork made Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) designed by the famous Thai artist, Chalermchai Kositpipat. Continue our journey to Mae Sae, Thailand's northernmost town for a Thai buffet lunch at the popular Wang Thong Restaurant. After lunch, take a stroll along the main street shops and stalls which usually sell fruits, handicrafts, jade, rubbies and other precious stones. You may also wish to take an optional tour across the border to the Burmese town of Tachilik which is at the other end of a small short bridge. Proceed to visit the Opium House where you can view interesting displays depiciting opium dens of the old days. Take a short walk to the majestic statue of the Golden Buddha and nearby are beautiful Thai Buddhist structures for photo taking before proceed to the Golden Triangle, which sits at the meeting point of the three countries, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. Then, take a boat ride to Laos Donsao Island, visit the local market which sell inexpensive handicrafts and clothing. Enroute back to Chiangmai , we drive pass Chiang Saen, an old city. (Note : Dinner either at Chiang Rai or in Chiang Mai).

DAY 04 CHIANG MAI / SINGAPORE (Breakfast)

  • Bid farewell to Chiang Mai as you will be transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore
