Day 1 : Hanoi - Arrival (-/-/D) Meet on arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport, transfer to Hotel for check in. Rest of day at leisure. In the evening you will attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2 : Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) Half -day Hanoi city tour: visit Ho Chi Minh’s House, museum and outside of His Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and the whole months of October-November) and His Residence, One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon : transfer to Halong Bay (165 km east of Hanoi), listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 1,000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Check in Hotel . Dinner and overnight at Hotel. Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – ho chi minh ( B/L/D) Morning : you will board the wooden junk to visit Halong Bay. While cruising through the bay, seafood lunch is served on board. Visit Thien Cung & Dau Go caves; circle Tuan Chau, Ga Choi, Dinh Huong, Dog and Sail islands. Afternoon : Drive back to Hanoi. Stop at Hong Ngoc Biggest shopping centre in the midle Hanoi and Halong for shopping and relax. Fly to Ho chi Minh city by local airlines for 2 hrs Meet on arrival at Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport and transfer to Hotel. Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. Dinner on floating restaurant with show and cruise on Saigon River & Overnight in Ho Chi Minh .
DAY 4: Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (B/l/d) We drive out this morning, to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war. This afternoon The sightseeing tour acquaints us with the city's major sights. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before exploring the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to this palace are some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. Then, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale.
DAY 5: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B/-/-) Leisure time until transfer to Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.
